Conrad Beilharz is an award winning film producer whose work has achieved international recognition across the entertainment industry. He has been supported by the Sundance Institute, NBC Universal, Chicken & Egg, and the Ford Foundation. Conrad’s most recent documentary feature, Bad Press, was awarded the Special Jury Prize for Freedom of Expression at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and went on to be an official selection at 42 major film festivals internationally, being honored with awards at 12 of them through 2023. Bad Press was also awarded Best Documentary Motion Picture by the International Press Academy’s Satellite Awards, received year-end nominations for the Critics Choice Awards and Cinema Eye Honors, as well as being named a 2024 finalist for the Silver Gavel Awards by the American Bar Association. The film got rave reviews from critics: maintaining a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and was selected as a New York Times Critic’s Pick.

Being called to the frontiers of storytelling across mediums, Conrad also produced the 2019 Sundance Film Festival premier virtual-reality experience Embody; as well as the Engadget Alternate Realities premier mixed-reality experience Dance with Fl(AR)mingos. Previously, he produced the California Film Award-winning documentary Mule Days as well as the Vimeo Staff Picked short film Gooses. He has also produced commercial work for Google, Microsoft, Lululemon, CLIF Bar, The Chicago Tribune, and Vice Media. Conrad is currently producing the vérité documentary feature Rina SaRina Wild Ballerina about a polyamorous death midwife.
